Ellie has now pooped on the potty. Today she joined her father in the bathroom to take a poo. The BM was followed by shouts of joy, high fives from Mom and Dad, waving to a flushing toilet, and a chocolate bar from Baka. Nice job, El.

Dear Ellie-Bell, Get all the chocolate you can out of this for as long as you can. Eventually you will realize that sometimes you don't get huge treats for pooping on the pot because your Mom and Dad will forget or run out of chocolate bars. Then it will all of a sudden occur to you that it was an awful lot easier to eliminate waste in your diaper. Then you will realize that pooping on the pot is kind of a big pain in the you-know-what. Then you will get sent to "Potty Training Boot Camp", and it will be quite definitely not as fun and a little bit overwhelming. But we will be the most proud of you then, so try to keep that in mind. For now, we're real proud of your accomplishment, and wish you many, many more. Lots of Love, Uncle Jess
